Welcome to Year 3 Magpies! 

Year 3 is taught by Miss Abbott  with Miss Ryland as the class Teaching Partner and Mrs Davis as a 1:1 Teaching Partner. 

There is a careful and gradual transition from the end of Year 2 to Year 3 which prepares children for the increasing expectations of them as they move into Key Stage 2. The children embed their learning in a supportive and caring environment.

There are three other important ways families can support their children's learning at home: 

READING regularly with and to your child.

SPELLINGS practice. In the documents below you will find a termly list of spelling words that will be taught and tested each week.

TIMES TABLES practice. This is a vital element of Maths learning. The link to our Times Tables Rock Stars site is below. A copy of your child's user name and password has been sent home.
